Returns & Exchanges

What if I want to return or exchange my purchase?

PLEASE NOTE: All sale items are final sale and will not be refunded. All items purchased with a promotional code are also non-refundable.  Accessories are final sale.  Swimwear is final sale.  Returns and exchanges are accepted on full price merchandise within 14 days of receipt.  Merchandise must arrive at shopSHEboutique.com within 14 days of receipt and returned in the exact condition in which they were shipped: all tags must be attached; merchandise must not be worn, washed, altered, or dry cleaned; all items must be free of stains and odor.  Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoebox in its original condition. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Where do I send my return or exchange?

PLEASE NOTE: Returns must arrive at shopSHEboutique.com within 14 days of the date you receive your order.  This includes transit time; therefore, you may want to allow up to seven days transit time.  
We highly recommend using an insured shipping method. This will offer you recourse in the case that something happen to your package in transit.  shopSHEboutique.com cannot accept responsibility for packages we do not ship ourselves.  Always keep tracking details for your records.

When will I see a refund on my credit card?

Once your package has been received by shopSHEboutique.com, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within 30 business days. At the time of refund, you will receive an email from Team SHE notifying you that the transaction has taken place.  Please note that the refund may take additional days to process and post to your bank account depending on your banking institution and the day/time at which the refund is made.

 

What if I want to order a PRE-ORDER item?

Coupon codes cannot be applied to pre-order items. Please note that the delivery date is an estimated delivery date. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for pre-order items due to possible unforeseen delays by the manufacturers. Pre-order items are sold on a first come first serve basis. We will charge your card for the full amount when the order is placed. If for some reason we cannot fill your order we will issue a full refund. We will accept cancellations on pre-order items but only for website or store credit to be used for future purchases. Refunds will not be permitted on cancelled pre-order items.

Shipping & Handling

Domestic Orders

shopSHEboutique.com will ship domestic orders via UPS Ground for FREE.  If you require or prefer other UPS options (i.e. 2nd Day or Overnight shipping) you make choose those options at checkout and will incur the associated charges. 
Please note: a SIGNATURE WILL *NOT* BE REQUIRED upon delivery. If you would like a signature required, YOU MUST SPECIFY SO AT CHECK OUT (you may use the Gift Message box for this). If your package is not delivered successfully at the first attempt, UPS will attempt a second delivery of your package on the next business day, excluding holidays. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

shopSHEboutique.com ships international orders via United States Postal Service Express Mail International.  Shipping charges vary by the cost and weight of goods ordered, upward of $40 USD.  You will be contacted via the email address provided on your account once your order is received, at which time we will ask for approval of the exact shipping rate for your order.  You will have 24 hours to confirm this rate before your order will be canceled.  Most orders fall between $40 and $55 USD.

Please note that risk of damage, loss, and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon delivery to the courier.  International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes once the shipment reaches your country.  As we have no control over these charges, you are responsible for paying additional charges (as well as duties and taxes) levied for customs clearance.  Please note that as an international customer ordering from shopSHEboutique.com, you are considered an importer within your country and must comply with any local laws and regulations in your country.  If you have questions regarding these charges and/or the items you wish to order, please contact your local customs office.

By placing an international order, you authorize shopSHEboutique.com to select a carrier who will act as an agent on your behalf to clear your merchandise with relevant customs and tax authorities AND advance any duties and taxes owed by you, on your behalf. 

Privacy

shopSHEboutique.com values the privacy of our customers.  However, it is required by law to display information regarding the contents, cost, and description of goods being shipped through international customs.  Moreover, please be aware that internationally shipped packages will be subject to opening and inspection in customs by authorities.  We are required by law as well to state the value of the item on the customs form, placed directly on the package.  The value will still be stated for customs purposes on all items marked GIFT as well.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Should you decide to refuse your shopSHEboutique.com order delivery, you remain responsible for the original AND return shipping charges, as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges levied on the package en route (*including those incurred on the package when being returned*). Any charges placed on the package  not already paid by you (in shipping and in customs)
will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

Sales Tax

Sales Tax will only be applied to Illinois residents for the amount of (9.25%).  

What if I do not want to place my order online?
 
We accept orders via Phone, Fax, and Mail as well!  We accept all major credit cards, check, and money order.  Please type, write, or print from your computer ALL of the following information:
  1. Your full name as it appears on your credit card or bank account.
  2. Your billing information or the address associated with your bank account.
  3. Your shipping information (the address at which you would like to receive your package).
  4. A working contact phone number at which you can be reached.
  5. An email address or fax number to which we can send you your tracking information and an order receipt.
  6. Your preferred method of shipping: UPS Ground, Next Day Air, 2Day Air, 3Day Select; USPS Priority Mail, USPS Express Mail, USPS Express Mail International, USPS Global Express Guaranteed.  
    • Please note: UPS does not ship to P.O. boxes.  
    • For Mail Orders, any expedited shipping will be calculated from the day we receive your order.  Mail orders may take up to 7 days to be received.
    • For International Orders, please note: the above estimated shipping costs are applicable for USPS Express Mail International.  UPS will be a higher charge.  To find exactly the cost of your shipping with your preferred international shipping method, please email: contact@shopSHEboutique.com with the item(s) you wish to order, the method you would like to use to ship, and the address at which you wish to ship your order.
  7. The item you wish to order: Designer, Full Name/Description of Item, Color, Size, and Sell Price. You may also print the product page.
  8. Any promotional or coupon code you would like to use. Note: coupon/promo codes cannot be combined. Promo codes are only valid for orders received on the days specified for the promotion. If you are mailing in your order, Your order must be post-marked ON or DURING the promotional period.
  9. Any special instructions.  (i.e. gift message, special shipping/packing instructions).
  10. Payment. We accept all major credit cards, check, and money order. To calculate your exact order total, please proceed through the first steps of checkout on shopSHEboutique.com. You will need to log in, enter your shipping and billing information, and then when asked for your credit card information, simple scroll to the bottom of the page to see your order total (including any taxes, promotion/coupons, shipping, etc.)
    • For Credit Cards: To fax or mail: Write clearly or type out: Your name as it appears on the credit card, the full credit card number, the expiration date, and the three digit code from the back of the card. You must also If you would like to phone in your credit card, please have all this information readily available, along with ALL information above.
    • For Check: Please write out your check for the exact amount as it appears on your shopping cart after proceeding through the first two steps of checkout (see above). Please include a photocopy of your drivers license. NOTE: Orders paid by check will not be shipped until the check clears successfully.
    • For Money Order: Please make your Money Order payable to SHE Boutique in the exact amount as it appears on your shopping cart after proceeding through the first two steps of checkout (see above).
BEFORE SENDING YOUR ORDER, PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU HAVE FOLLOWED ALL OF THE ABOVE 10 STEPS AND INCLUDED ALL INFORMATIONIncomplete orders will result in delayed processing or cancellation.

Our Privacy Statement

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

Online Security

Your credit card is completely safe.

Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.

*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

Shopping Online

To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)

To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.

To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.

To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.

Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.

To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout.  (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
